Install spacer (20) to the lower hitch.

Lower the temperature of pin (19). Install pin (19).

Measure the distance between the face of spacer (20) and the frame. Record at least four measurements in four different locations around spacer (20). Using the smallest measurement, subtract 0.25 mm (0.01 inch). The final distance is the correct shim thickness.

Install shims (18) equal to the thickness recorded in 28.
Install plate (17). Install bolts (16). Tighten bolts (16) to a torque of 530 70 N m (390 50 lb ft).
Install bolts (15). Tighten bolts (15) to a torque of 100 20 N m (75 15 lb ft).

Remove the suitable lifting device from the loader frame.

Remove the suitable cribbing from the rear frame.

Remove Tooling (A) from the rear frame.

Position steering cylinder (14). Install pin assembly (13) and install bolt (12). Repeat for the remaining steering cylinder.
