Operation
Loosen the pressure release on the pump (A) .
Turn on the pressure gauge by pressing the ON/OFF button.
If necessary, zero the gauge by pressing the Zero/Clear button.Note: To change the units displayed, press the Units button repeatedly until the desired units are displayed.
Close the pressure release on the pump.
Select to generate pressure or vacuum by pressing the plunger (C) in the sides of the pump. Press to the right for pressure and to the left for vacuum. Ensure that the plunger is completely pressed to the selected direction, or the pump will not generate any pressure or vacuum.
Squeeze the handles of the pump (D) until the desired pressure is reached. As you get near the desired pressure, it may be necessary to use the fine adjustment knob (B) to make minute adjustments in the pressure. Rotate the fine adjustment knob clockwise to increase the pressure and counterclockwise to decrease the pressure.Note: If you need to lower the pressure more than the fine adjustment knob will allow, then open the pressure release slightly to bleed off some of the pressure and then tighten it back again.
When the test is complete, slowly open the pressure release knob to release the pressure from the system. Only after the pressure gauge indicates zero pressure should you disconnect any connections. Disconnect the hose and fittings in the reverse order of connection.
Turn gauge off using On/Off button when finished testing to conserve battery.
Personal injury or death can result from escaping fluid under pressure.Escaping fluid under pressure, even a very small pin-hole size leak, can penetrate body tissue and cause serious injury and possible death. If fluid is injected into your skin, it must be treated by a doctor familiar with this type of injury.Always use a board or cardboard when checking for a leak.
Pressures up to 600 psi can be generated by the hand pump. Do not disconnect sensor or hose until pressure is released using the pressure release knob. Do not cut, pinch, kink, or otherwise damage the test hose. If test hose is damaged, discard and replace. Do not use a damaged test hose. Do not place any part of your body over the test hose or hand pump outlet and attempt to generate a pressure. Doing so could cause serious injury.

Thermal Generator
The calibration instrument has been designed with the utmost care. Ease of operation and simplicity of maintenance have been a central theme in the product development. Therefore, with proper care, the instrument should require very little maintenance. Avoid operating the instrument in an oily, wet, dirty, or dusty environment.
If the outside of the instrument becomes soiled, it may be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use harsh chemicals on the surface which may damage the paint.
It is important to keep the well of the calibrator clean and clear of any foreign matter. Do
