In order to check the oil level, clean the area around oil level plug (2) on the inside of the bogie. Remove the plug. The oil level should be at the bottom of the opening for the oil level plug.Note: If the oil level is higher than the opening, do not allow the oil to drain out of the opening for the oil level plug.
Clean the oil level plug and install the oil level plug.
If the oil level is below the opening for the oil level plug, add oil to filler plug (1) .
Check the oil level in the other bogies.
