AIR CLEANER GP 3083424 - Caterpillar

1. Remove twenty-four seals (2) and two O-ring seals (1) from spacer plate (3). There are two more O-ring seals below the spacer plate.2. Remove the spacer plate and spacer plate gasket from the cylinder block.
Do not cause damage to the dowels.
Install Spacer Plate
1. Thoroughly clean the spacer plate and cylinder block surface.2. Install new gasket (4) between the spacer plate and cylinder block. Install two new O-ring seals on tubes (2) and (3). Put spacer plate (1) in position on the cylinder block.
Both surfaces of the spacer plate, spacer plate gasket and the top of the cylinder block must be clean and dry. Gasket adhesives or other substances must not be used on these surfaces.
3. Install new seals and O-ring seal in the spacer plate.4. Check cylinder liner projection. See INSTALL CYLINDER LINERS.end by:a) install cylinder head assembly
