1. Slowly rotate the pump CW (as viewed from the pump shaft end). Increase pump rotation to 600 RPM. Visually check the pump for leaks or unusual sounds at this time. (Pump output will vary in this state, depending on swashplate angle after reassembly and other factors.) The pump output will be at a minimum flow at this time of approximately 18 lpm (5 gpm). 2. Apply 2750 kPa (400 psi) to power assist port (3). The pump output flow should drop to zero. If the pump does not destroke (drop to zero), inspect the power assist valve or replace it if necessary.3. Increase pump rotation to 900 rpm.4. Apply a 290 mA current to the proportional solenoid. The pump output should increase to 16 2 lpm (4.2 .5 gpm). 5. Increase the load to 6890 kPa (1000 psi). The pump output should remain constant. Do not make an adjustment to the proportional valve at this time, if the flow is not within specification. 6. Apply a 400 mA current to the proportional solenoid. The pump output should increase to 69 6 lpm (18 1.5 gpm). 7. Increase the load to 28000 kPa (4060 psi). The pump output should remain constant. If the flow is not in specification, adjust the proportional valve by loosening the locknut and turning setscrew (6). Turning the setscrew clockwise will decrease the flow at a specific current, counterclockwise will increase the flow. If an adjustment is made, repeat Step 6 to make sure flow is within specifications. Repeat if necessary.8. Observe the flow from the case drain, which should be under 15 lpm (4 gpm).9. Reduce the load to 6890 kPa (1000 psi).10. Apply a 600 mA current to the proportional solenoid and the pump output should be 200 lpm (53 gpm).
