The crankcase breather is located on the back of the engine.
Remove hose (1) from the outlet of breather assembly (2).
Remove the four bolts and remove the breather assembly from the engine.
Remove the breather element. Wash the breather element and the breather in a clean nonflammable solvent. Allow the breather element to dry before installation.
Check the condition of the hose. Replace the hose if the hose is damaged. Check the condition of the breather assembly seal. Replace the seal if the seal is damaged.
Install the breather element and install the breather assembly.
Install the hose onto the outlet of the breather assembly and tighten the clamp.
