A new spacer allows clearance for a socket and torque tool on the exhaust elbow.Adaptable To: The new 3E6916 Locknut replaces the 2N2766 Locknut used to bolt the exhaust manifolds together. The 4P7680 Spacer replaces the cast boss on each exhaust manifold where the manifold bolts to the cylinder head. The new spacer is effective with changes to each individual exhaust manifold (7E8479, 7E8480, 7E8481, 7E8482 and 7E9984). A spot face has been added to the exhaust manifold to provide room for the spacer. This change is not adaptable to field usage on manifolds that do not have the spot face.
