Connect harness assemblies (16) and (15).

Install spacer (13) and bolt (12).

Connect harness assembly (7) and (11).
Install clips (10), bolts (8), and nuts (9). Tighten nuts (9) to a torque of 35 5 N.m (26 4 lb ft).

Connect hose assembly (6).
Install clips (5) and bolts (4).

Attach suitable lifting device to drive shaft (2). The weight of drive shaft (2) is approximately 295 kg (650 lb).
Use new bolts (3) to connect drive shaft (2).
Use the following procedure to mate the universal joint of drive shaft (2) onto the yoke of the transmission.
Mate the key and the pilot diameter of the universal joint with the yoke of the transmission. Use a suitable rubber or wooden hammer to seat the universal joint.
Install new bolts (3).
Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 1000 125 N m (737 92 lb ft) in an alternating (X) pattern.
Repeat the tightening procedure to ensure that the correct torque has been achieved.
