Park on a level surface. If it is necessary to park on a grade, block the tracks securely.

Use forward/reverse propel lever (1) to stop the machine.
Place wood blocks under the rotor drum and then lower the machine down until rotor touches wood blocks.
Turn all systems OFF.Note: There are two recommended elevation positions for parking the machine.
Elevate the machine up to the service height position. Install the rear service leg locks. Lower the rear of the machine down until the leg locks are seated onto the rear leg yokes. Hydraulic check valves are built into the front hydraulic leg cylinders. For this reason, there are no front service leg locks.
Lower the elevation of the machine down evenly until the side plates start to touch the surface of the ground. Either of these machine elevation positions is recommended for parking the machine.Note: In the event of freezing weather, park the machine on wooden planks, rocks, or brush. Parking the machine on wooden planks, rocks, or brush will prevent the tracks from freezing to the ground in cold weather. Drain the water spray system if the machine is parked in freezing temperatures overnight.
