(1) Thickness of 471-6399 Spacer is 6.4 mm (0.25 inch). (2) Thickness of 471-6400 Spacer is 12.7 mm (0.50 inch).
Use the following rework procedure in order to install new spacers on the above listed adaptable machines.Adaptable To: New bearing covers are now effective in production for the angle and tilt cylinders on the machines listed in Table 2. The new bearing covers will protect from dirt and increase the service life of the bearings.Rework Procedure

Remove pin (A) and spacer (B) .
Insert spacer (B), flush into the rubber cylinder bearing cover (C) .
Slide assembled spacer (B) and cover (C) back into position, with the cover towards the cylinder end. Refer Illustration 2.
Reinstall pin (A) and lock into position.
Grease all the bearings.
