PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Park machine on level ground. Allow machine to rest for 15 minutes. Check oil level of the pump coupling through the sight gauge. The level should be in the middle of the sight gauge in area (A) as shown in Image1.1.1.

2. If the oil level is low, inspect around the drain port and coupling to flywheel housing for any signs of external leaks. If leaks are found, repair the leaks. If no leaks are found, add oil to the reservoir. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual on the procedure to add oil to the reservoir. Allow the customer to run the machine and monitor oil level daily by following the steps outlined in Step 1.
3. If the customer the determines that oil level has dropped, then the rear crankshaft seal can be replaced. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly manual to remove the main hydraulic pump and to replace the rear crankshaft seal.
It is not necessary to install the crankshaft hub wear sleeve unless visible wear is present and can be felt by running a finger nail across the surface of the hub. If the hub is free of grooves or wear that can be felt by a fingernail, the wear sleeve is not needed.

During the repair, inspect the flywheel housing for 106-1565 Plug. If the plug is missing, install new plug.
