When reporting the repair, use "PS42276" as the Part Numberand "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code.If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Rework Procedure
When you remove the cylinder packs from the engine follow the instructions below in order to install the skirts.

1.Making sure that the piston rings do not come out from the liner. Push piston from the top in order to expose the skirt and pin assembly at the bottom of the liner.

2. Push the pin out of the piston and piston skirt.

3. Align new skirt on the piston. Install the pin assembly.

4.Install new Seal O-ring for the liner.
5. Follow the D&A manual for the rest of the procedure.
