Start the engine. Run the engine at high idle. Operate the control levers and move all the cylinders in order to increase the temperature of the hydraulic oil to normal operating temperature.

Raise the lift arms. Lower the bucket to the jack stands.
Stop the engine.

(7) Main hydraulic system pressure tap
Remove the loader tower access panel that is over the main control valve in order to access the line relief valves.
Move the control levers through the full range of travel several times. This will relieve any pressure that may be present in the implement hydraulic system.
Push on the plunger of the breaker valve on the hydraulic oil tank in order to relieve the pressure in the hydraulic oil tank. Push in the plunger until all pressure is released from the hydraulic oil tank.
Install a 8T-0859 Pressure Gauge from the 8T-5320 Hydraulic Test Group on the pressure tap for the auxiliary cylinder. Install the gauge on the pressure tap for the tilt cylinder if there is no auxiliary cylinder. Install a pressure gauge on the main hydraulic system pressure tap that is shown in Illustration 4.

Compare the pressure gauge readings with the specifications in Tables 2 and 3.
