Information:

1. Heat race (3) for inner roller bearing in oil to a maximum temperature of 135°C (275°F) and install race on end of sprocket shaft (2).2. Use the tool set up and install inner bearing cone (1) on sprocket shaft (2) with a force of 98 to 240 kN (9 to 27 tons). 3. Install gear (4) and bolts and nuts (5). Tighten nuts to a torque of 80 7 N m (60 5 lb.ft.). Then turn an additional 120° 5°. Torque after turning 120° 5° to be 305 N m (230 lb.ft.). 4. Install bearing cup (8), spacer (9) and bearing cup (10) in housing (7).5. Put the sprocket shaft (2) in vertical position on blocks and install cover (7).6. Install spacer (6) on sprocket shaft (2).7. Use the tool set up and install outer bearing cone (11) on sprocket shaft (2) with a force of 178 to 240 kN (20 to 27 tons) while turning housing (7) to set bearing cone (11) in cup (10).8. Put oil on threads of sprocket shaft (2) and install nut (12) until the threads of sprocket shaft begin to show beyond the friction material of nut (12).9. Put 7M7260 Liquid Gasket on cover and case faces and install cover on case.10. Use the 5P316 Spanner Wrench and 9S7352 Torque Wrench and check the torque needed to turn nut (12). If same nut is used again, it must take at least 55 N m (40 lb.ft.) to turn nut. If not, use a new nut with oil on threads of nut and on friction material of nut. A new nut must take at least 80 N m (60 lb.ft.) to turn it. The torque needed to turn nut (12) is with clean threads, oil on the threads and friction material of nut and all of nut and friction material of nut engaged on threads of sprocket shaft but nut not making contact with bearing.11. Use 5P316 Spanner Wrench, 6V6080 Torque Multiplier and 9S7352 Torque Wrench and tighten nut (12) to a torque of 815 + 400 - 65 N m (600 + 300 - 50 lb.ft.)
