preparatory step: a) remove flywheel housing 1. Remove camshaft idler gear retaining bolts and remove gear (1). 2. Remove auxiliary drive idler gear retaining bolts and gear (2). 3. Remove cluster idler gear retaining bolts and gear (3). 4. Remove pump idler gear retaining bolts and gear (4). 5. Remove camshaft drive gear retaining bolts and gear (5). 6. Remove fuel injection pump drive gear (6).Install Timing Gears
"V" marks on camshaft phasing gears must be aligned and master spline on camshaft drive collar should now be in top center position. 1. Install camshaft drive gear (1) and align plug with master spline on camshaft drive collar. 2. Install camshaft gear drive shaft (2) using 3/8"-16NC forged eyebolt. 3. Install camshaft idler gear (3) with "V" mark aligned with "V" mark on camshaft drive gear. 4. Install cluster idler gear (4) aligning "V" mark on cluster on "V" mark on camshaft. 5. Install accessory drive idler gear (5) lining up "V" marks on camshaft idler gear and to small gear on cluster. 6. Install accessory drive gear (6) and scavenge pump drive gear (7).concluding step: a) install flywheel housing
