Change the Oil
1. Open the hydraulic oil tank access cover. 2. Remove the fill cap. 3. Open the access door on the right side of the machine. 4. Remove the drain plug and allow the oil to drain. This machine has a remote drain plug. It is the line with a 45° fitting at the drain end. The engine crankcase drain line has a straight fitting at the drain end.5. Clean the drain plug. Inspect the plug seal and replace it if it is damaged or worn.6. Install the drain plug. 7. Remove the tank cover and discard the gasket.8. Remove the strainer from the tank and wash it in clean nonflammable solvent.9. Install the clean strainer in the tank.10. Clean the tank cover and replace it immediately, using a new gasket.11. Inspect the inside of the hydraulic tank for contamination. If excessive contamination is found, the tank should be removed from the machine and cleaned.12. Change all other hydraulic filters. See "Change the Conveyor Drive and Ground Drive Filters," "Change the Auxiliary Pressure Filter Element," and "Change the Return Filter Element" in this section.Change the Conveyor Drive and Ground Drive Filters
1. Open the access door on the right side of the machine. 1. Remove and discard the conveyor drive (1) and ground drive filters (2).2. Clean the filter mounting bases. Make sure all of the old seals are removed.3. Apply a thin coat of clean hydraulic oil to the seals of the new filters.4. Install the new filters by hand. When the seals contacts the filter base, tighten the filter 3/4 turn more. Do not overtighten.Change the Return Filter Element
