The safety areas are not operational areas. Under no circumstances should the work tool be moved into the safety areas during operation of the tool.
The area of the center of gravity for the demolition tool includes the mounting bracket. This area should not extend more than 1500 mm (59 inch) from the stick nose.

The mounting bracket of the tool must be designed to provide the following conditions: During working conditions, the tool is usually positioned so that the rod of the linkage cylinder is not extended past midstroke. Illustration 3 shows an incorrect design. Illustration 4 shows a correct design.

Operating the demolition tool with a fully retracted linkage cylinder or a fully extended linkage cylinder can cause severe damage to the cylinder or to the hinge mechanism. Therefore, the full traverse area should not be used as a working area. Boom Recognition Alarm

(7) Boom foot When the machine is in the ultrahigh demolition configuration, an alarm is activated. The alarm alerts the operator when the machine is operating outside of the operational area. (10) Expandable pin
Remove the expandable pin (10) from the bores of the boom.
Lower the boom. In order to position the boom for the straight configuration, slide the bracket (8) and secure the bracket with two M20 bolts in the extended position on the boom foot.
Raise the boom in order to align the boom nose into the straight configuration.
