The hydraulic pump is located at the rear of the tractor in the center of the machine. The hydraulic pump is a two-section vane pump. The hydraulic pump is for the hydraulic steering system and the implements.

(22) Bowl Control (23) Apron Control (24) Ejector ControlThe location of the attachment controls for the bowl and the ejector are at the right side of the seat for the operator. Rods are used to connect the control levers to the valve stems in the scraper control valve. There is one valve for the bowl, the apron and the ejector.The scraper control valve is an open centered valve with three valve stems. When the bowl control lever is in the HOLD position and the engine is running, the oil from the hydraulic pumps will flow through the scraper control valve to the oil filter and into the hydraulic tank.When the oil filter becomes plugged with too much debris, the oil filter has a bypass valve that allows the oil to flow around the dirty oil filter. This flow restriction in the oil filter causes a pressure increase inside the oil filter. The high pressure oil causes the bypass valve to open. The oil then flows through the open bypass valve into the hydraulic tank. When the oil does not flow through the oil filter element, dirt in the oil will cause damage to the other components of the hydraulic system.Axle Suspension System
