Start By:a. remove engine and torque divider 1. Disconnect wire harness (2) from torque divider outlet relief valve (3).2. Remove three bolts (1) and remove torque divider outlet relief valve (3) from the rear of the torque divider and from tube assemblies (4). 3. Fasten Tooling (A) and a hoist to torque divider (5). Remove bolts (6) and install two 1/2 - 13 NCforcing screws (7) to separate torque divider (5) from the flywheel housing. Tighten forcing screws (7) evenly.4. Remove torque divider (5). The weight of the torque divider is 343 kg (750 lb.). 5. Remove bolt (8), the washer and lock. Pull sleeve (9) out of the flywheel housing. Remove the O-ring seals from sleeve (9). 6. Remove ring (10) and pull gear (11) from the flywheel. 7. Remove ring (12) and outer half of race and roller assembly (13) from the flywheel. The following steps are for the connection of the torque divider to the engine.8. Install outer half of race and roller assembly (13) in the flywheel.9. Install ring (12) to hold the outer half of the race and roller assembly.10. Install gear (11) in the flywheel.11. Fasten Tooling (A) and a hoist to torque divider (5). Make sure that the O-ring seal is installed on the torque divider housing. Put clean engine oil on the O-ring seal.12. Put torque divider (5) in position on the engine. Make sure the splines and gear teeth of the torque divider are engaged correctly with the splines and gear teeth of the flywheel gear. Install bolts (6) to hold torque divider (5) to the flywheel housing.13. Install the O-ring seal in outlet relief valve (4) and put clean oil on it. Install the O-ring seals on the end of tubes (3). Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil.14. Install outlet relief valve (3) on the rear of torque divider and on tubes (4). Install three bolts (1).15. Connect wire harness (2) to the torque divider outlet relief valve.End By:a. install engine and torque divider
