Do not torch or weld on painted areas. The effect of gasses from burned paint is a danger to the person doing the cutting or welding.
8PB1-Up, 9DB1-1138, 2AC1-Up, and 3AC1-587; no modifications required. 9DB1939-Up and 3AC808-Up; no modifications required. 9DB1139-1938 and 3AC588-807; modifications are required as follows:
1. Remove the old right side full length track roller frame guard.2. Remove old spacer tubes and bolts.

Full Length Track Roller Frame Guard (Right Side Shown) (A) 5 mm (.2 in).3. Install spacer tubes (39), with washers (35), nuts (36), removed earlier in this procedure and bolts (40).4. Rework full length track roller frame guard assemblies (34) and (38) mounting holes to dimension (A). The mounting holes are elongated towards the inside of guard assemblies (34) and (38). To avoid rework of the original full length track roller frame guard assemblies, old guard assemblies can be replaced with new full length guard assemblies (34) and (38), spacer tubes (39), and bolts (40).5. Install reworked full length track roller frame guard assemblies (34) and (38) or new guard assemblies to track roller frame (43), with bolts (48) and spacers (49) removd earlier in this procedure.6. Install full length track roller frame guard assemblies (34) and (38) or new guard assemblies to front and rear guiding guards (44) and (42), with washers (45) removed earlier in this procedure, bolts (46), plates (37) and plates (41). Plates (37) and (41) are installed between track roller guard mounting plates (47) and (50) and guiding guards (42) and (44).7. Repeat Steps 1 through 6 for the left side full length track roller frame guard.Procedure to Replace Full Length Track Roller Frame Guards
