Start By:
Remove the work tool positioner control. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Work Tool Positioner Control - Remove and Install".Note: The tilt lever is located between the lift arms.

Place Tooling (A) under bucket tilt link (1), as shown. This will help to prevent the bucket tilt link from falling when the pin is removed.

Remove bolt (2), the washer, and the spacer from pin (3) .

Attach Tooling (B) to pin (3). Use a suitable hoist and a suitable lifting sling in order to support Tooling (B), as shown.
Use a suitable hoist and a suitable lifting sling in order to support the rod end of the tilt cylinder.
Use Tooling (B) in order to remove pin (3) .Note: Start the engine and retract the tilt cylinder. Lower the rod end of the tilt cylinder onto the lift arm assembly.

Place pin (3) through the pin bore of tilt lever (4). Use a suitable hoist and a suitable lifting sling in order to support tilt lever (4), as shown.

Remove bolt (5), the washer, and the spacer from pin (6) .

Attach Tooling (C) to pin (6). Use a suitable hoist and a suitable lifting sling in order to support Tooling (C) .
Use Tooling (C) in order to remove pin (6) .

Remove bolt (7), the washer, and the spacer from pin (8) .

Attach Tooling (D) to pin (8). Use a suitable hoist and a suitable lifting sling in order to support Tooling (D), as shown.
Use Tooling (D) in order to remove pin (8) .
Remove tilt lever (4). The weight of the tilt lever is 380 kg (840 lb).

Remove lip seal (9) from the center bore of tilt lever (4). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the tilt lever.

Attach Tooling (E) to tilt lever (4). Use Tooling (E) in order to remove the bearing from the tilt lever.
