ALTERNATOR GP- 2579467 - Caterpillar

1. Make sure the bucket is on firm and level ground and resting perfectly flat. Relieve all hydraulic pressure. Attach a suitable lifting device to the bucket. 2. Remove one bolt, washer and spacer (1) from each side of the bucket on lower pin (2). 3. Remove one bolt, washer and spacer (3) from each side of bucket upper pin (4). Remove upper pin (4) and two washers (not shown) from each side of the bucket. When pins (4) are removed link assembly (5) will drop. 4. Remove lower pin (2) and two washers (not shown) from each side of bucket by using tool (A) if necessary. Remove bucket from loader arm. Bucket weight is approximately 551 kg (1200 lb). Install in reverse order.Apply 5P960 Multipurpose Grease to pins and bores prior to installation. Apply 5P960 Multipurpose Grease to fittings after complete assembly.
