Two devices with the same serial number that are connected to the AccuGrade Laser system are detected as the same device. For example, two left electric masts are detected.Test Step 1. VERIFY THE SERIAL NUMBER OF THE DEVICEMake a visual check of each device label in order to ensure that each device has a different serial number.Expected Result:Each device has a separate serial number.Results:
OK - Each device has a separate serial number. Proceed to test step 2
NOT OK - There is a duplicate serial number.Repair: Replace the affected component. Stop.Test Step 2. VERIFY THE ELECTRONIC SERIAL NUMBER FOR EACH DEVICE
Connect ET to the machine service connector.
Verify that the devices do not have duplicate electronic serial numbers.Expected Result:No duplicate electronic serial numbers.Results:
OK - There are no duplicate serial numbers. Proceed to test step 3
NOT OK - Repair: Replace the affected device. Stop.Test Step 3. CHECK THE HARNESS FOR AN OPEN.
Move the "power/setup" switch on the AccuGrade Laser display to the OFF position.
Turn the key start switch and the disconnect switch for the machine to the OFF position.
Disconnect the harness from the right radiator guard connector.
Measure the resistance between pin "2" and pin "3".Expected Result:The resistance is less than 5.0 ohms.Results:
OK - The resistance is less than 5.0 ohms. The machine harness is correct. Proceed to Test Step 4.
NOT OK - The resistance is greater than 5000 ohms. The resistance measurement is not correct. There is an open circuit in the machine harness.Repair: The open is in wire T744-WH of the machine harness. Repair the machine harness or replace the machine harness. Stop.Test Step 4. CHECK THE HARNESS FOR A SHORT.
Move the "power/setup" switch on the AccuGrade Laser display to the OFF position.
Turn the key start switch and the disconnect switch for the machine to the OFF position.
Disconnect the harness from the left radiator guard connector.
Measure the resistance between pin "2" and pin "3".Expected Result:The resistance is greater than 5000 ohms.Results:
OK - The resistance is greater than 5000 ohms. The machine harness is correct. Proceed to Test Step 5.
NOT OK - The resistance is less than 5000 ohms. The resistance measurement is not correct. There is an short circuit in the machine harness.Repair: The short is in wire T744-WH of the machine harness. Repair the machine harness or replace the machine harness. Stop.Test Step 5. CHECK IF THE DIAGNOSTIC CODE REMAINS.
Inspect the contacts of the harness connectors and clean the harness connectors.
Reconnect all harness connectors.
Turn the disconnect switch and the key start switch to the ON position.
Move the "power/setup" switch on the AccuGrade Laser display to the ON position.
Operate the machine.
Check the status of the "CB 24".Expected Result:The "CB 24" diagnostic code is active.Results:
YES - The "CB 24" diagnostic code is active.
