Use Tooling (A) and suitable cribbing to raise shell (1) off the ground.
Use a suitable prybar to lower cutting edge (3) to the ground. Refer Table2 for the approximate weight of cutting edge (3).

Remove nuts (2), bolts (5), cutting edge (3), and wear plate (4).Installation Procedure

Clean the contact surfaces of the shell assembly and cutting edge (3) free of all surfaces of rust, paint, nicks, and burrs.
Use a suitable prybar to position cutting edge (3) to the ground. Refer Table3 for the approximate weight of cutting edge (3).

Position cutting edge (3). Install new bolts (5) and new nuts (2). Tighten nuts (2) to a torque of 475 60 N m (350 44 lb ft).
Strike the head of bolts (5) with a suitable hammer. Tighten nuts (2) to a torque of 475 60 N m (350 44 lb ft).
Use Tooling (A) to lower shell (1) to the ground. Remove the suitable cribbing and Tooling (A).
