Attach a suitable lifting device to final drive assembly (16). Install final drive assembly (16) and bolts (17) to the machine. The weight of final drive assembly (16) is approximately 360 kg (794 lb).

Connect hose assemblies (15) to piston motor (14) .
Connect harness assembly (13) to piston motor (14) .
Fill the hydraulic oil tank with hydraulic oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.

install cover (9), cover (10), cover (12), and bolts (11) .

Attach Tooling (A) to sprocket (8) and install sprocket (8) on the machine. The weight of sprocket (8) is approximately 47 kg (104 lb). Move sprocket (8) against the final drive.

Install bolts (7) .
Start the machine and slowly move the propel lever to the FORWARD position. Move the machine forward until the sprocket engages track (6) .

Attach Tooling (B) to track (6), as shown.
Start the machine and slowly move the propel lever to the FORWARD position. Use Tooling (B) to pull track (6) to the front of the machine.

Stop the machine and shut off the engine. Attach Tooling (B), as shown. Start the engine and slowly move the propel lever to the FORWARD position. Stop the machine and shut off the engine. Remove Tooling (B) .

Start the engine and slowly move the propel lever to the FORWARD position until the machine is positioned on the track, as shown. Stop the machine and shut off the engine.

Attach Tooling (B) to the track, as shown. Use Tooling (B) in order to pull the hydraulic tensioner cylinder inward.

Attach Tooling (B) to the track, as shown. Pull the track together and position track link (7), as shown.

Install backing plate (5). Apply Tooling (C) to two of bolts (4) and install two of bolts (4), as shown.

Remove Tooling (B) and apply Tooling (C) to the remaining bolts (4). Install remaining bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 230 30 N m (170 22 lb ft).

Close valve (3). Start the engine in order to tighten the track. Shut off the engine.

Install track pad (2) and nuts (1). Tighten nuts (1) to a torque of 160 30 N m (118 22 lb ft).
