1 1 383-6954 Metal Face Type Seal Gp The rubber toric seals and all the contacting surfaces must be clean and dry at assembly. Before assembly, apply a thin film of 6V-4876 Lubricant to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal rings. The metal seal rings must be assembled square. The rubber toric seals should not bulge and the rubber toric seals should not twist.
2 2 6V-8202 Bolt Before assembly, apply blue Loctite 242 to the threads.
Torque to 45 5 N m (33 4 lb ft).
A 1 383-6959 Shaft As Before assembly, length of the shaft assembly that must be free of paint is 41 5 mm (1.6 0.2 inch).
- - - End play:
Minimum is 0.20 mm (0.008 inch).
Maximum is 0.50 mm (0.020 inch).
