3 1 313-4085 Rocker Shaft Assembly Diameter of a new rocker shaft is 40.000 0.010 mm (1.5748 0.0004 inch).
After installation, bore in the rocker arm bushing for rocker shaft is 40.065 0.015 mm (1.5774 0.0006 inch).
Maximum dimension for the bore of the rocker arm for the rocker arm shaft is 40.193 mm (1.5824 inch).
- - - Inlet valve lash setting value is 0.38 0.08 mm (0.015 0.003 inch).
Exhaust valve lash setting value is 0.76 0.08 mm (0.030 0.003 inch).

4 18 304-9553 Stud Use the following procedure in order to tighten the stud for the rocker arm:
Before assembly, apply black 4C-5592 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads and under head of studs.
Refer Illustration 3 for stud tightening sequence.
1. Tighten the studs in a numerical sequence to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
2. Again, tighten all the studs to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
3. Turn the studs in a numerical sequence to an angle of 60 5 degrees.
