The procedure to update these sensor is the same for open or closed ROPS machines.
Remove and replace both the left and right 9X5592 Rotary Position Sensors with a 147-1680 Sensor and a 6V0894 O-Ring. The 6V0894 O-Ring is to be installed on the circular mounting boss of the sensor.
The addition of the O-Ring prevents moisture entry into the sensor.
Prior to the replacement of the sensors, insure the S/N of the FTC Control Box is lower than 8390.
The S/N of the FTC Box is located in the front of the palm rest just to the left of the left hand paddle.
S/N'S of FTC Boxes higher than 8390 have already been updated, and no change is needed.
