Use suitable tooling and a press to compress spring (29) onto piston (25). Install C-washer (30). Repeat this step for the other piston.
Install piston seal (28) onto piston (25). Repeat this step for the other piston.

Apply Tooling (H) to seal (49) .
Use Tooling (D) in order to install seal (49) into pump housing (34) .
Use Tooling (E) in order to install retaining ring (48) into pump housing (34) .

Install O-ring on relief valve (22). Install relief valve on port plate housing (10). Install two bolts (21) .
Tighten bolts (21) .
Install O-ring on charge valve (23). Install charge valve to port plate housing (10). Tighten charge valve into a torque of 32.5 2.5 N m (24 1.8 lb ft).

Install O-ring (17) on check valve (14). Install O-ring (18) on relief valve (15) .

Install pins (16) into port plate housing (10). Install plate O-ring (13) into port plate housing (10) .
Install check valve (14) into port plate housing (10). Tighten check valve to a torque of 32.5 2.5 N m (24 1.8 lb ft).
Install relief valve (15) into port plate housing (10). Tighten relief valve to a torque of 65 5 N m (48 4 lb ft).
Install lubrication tube (11A) and lubrication tube (11B) into port plate housing (10) .Note: Be sure that the correct lubrication tube (11A) and lubrication tube (11B) are installed into the correct cavity in port plate housing (10) .

Install completed barrel assembly (33) into pump housing (34) .
Install pistons (25) and C-washer (24) .
Install O-rings (26) onto pump housing (34) .
Install port plate (27) .

Install control lever (32) through opening in pump housing (34). Apply Tooling (F) to bolts (31).
Fasten two bolts (31) to secure control lever (32) to swashplate (56). Tighten bolts to a torque of 33.5 1.5 N m (24.7 1.1 lb ft).

Install port plate housing (10) onto pump housing (34) .Note: The pins (16) locate port plate (27). Pistons (25) fit into the matching recess in port plate housing (10) .
Apply Tooling (F) to bolts (9). Fasten seven bolts to a torque of 130 13 N m (96 10 lb ft).

Install solenoid (8). Install four bolts (7). Fasten four bolts to a torque of 15 3 N m (11 2 lb ft).

Install plug (6). Install and fasten bolt (5) .

Install four O-rings (3) onto control valve (1). Install O-ring (4) onto control valve (1) .

Position control valve (1) onto pump housing (34) .Note: The control lever (32) fits into the control valve (1) .
Apply Tooling (F) to bolts (2). Fasten bolts to a torque of 35 3 N m (26 2 lb ft).End By: Install the piston pump (water delivery).
