Thickness of new piston ring 3.845 mm (0.1514 inch).
When the new piston ring is installed in a cylinder liner with a bore size of 144.975 mm (5.7077 inch), the clearance between the ends of the piston ring is 0.53 0.10 mm (0.021 0.004 inch).
2 - 344-5153 Piston Ring Install the piston ring with the "UP-2" side toward the top of the piston.
When the new piston ring is installed in a cylinder liner with a bore size of 144.975 mm (5.7077 inch), the clearance between the ends of the piston ring is 0.825 0.125 mm (0.0324 0.0050 inch).
Thickness of new piston ring 2.94 mm (0.116 inch).
3 - 246-5659 Piston Ring The ends of the piston ring should be a distance of 180 degrees from the ring end gap when the oil control piston ring is assembled. The colored portion of the piston ring must be visible at the ring end gap.
Thickness of new piston ring 2.98 0.01 mm (0.117 0.004 inch).
When the new piston ring is installed in a cylinder liner with a bore size of 144.975 mm (5.7077 inch), the clearance between the ends of the piston ring is 0.55 0.15 mm (0.022 0.006 inch).
After the piston rings have been installed, rotate the piston rings so that the ring end gaps are 120 degrees apart from each other.
4 - 180-7350 Piston Pin Before assembly, lubricate the piston pin, the piston pin bore, the connecting rod eye, and the connecting rod pin bearing with clean engine oil.
Outside diameter is 59.975 0.005 mm (2.3612 0.0002 inch).
Length is 89.80 0.15 mm (3.535 0.006 inch).
5 - 250-2940 Pin Retainer Assemble the pin retainer with the gap facing towards the top of the piston or facing towards bottom of the piston. Thickness is 1.93 to 2.00 mm (0.075 to 0.079 inch).
6 1 151-5925 Bolt Torque to 40 8 N m (30 6 lb ft).
