2. Remove lockpin (1), the washer and bracket (3) from the pin.3. Remove four bolts (4).4. Using two persons, remove guard assembly (2) from the machine. The weight of the guard assembly is 32 kg (70 lb). 5. Fasten a lifting sling and a hoist to the lower bracket assembly as shown. Put slight lifting tension on the bracket assembly.6. Remove bolt (5) and the washer from the each pin assembly (6). Remove the two pin assemblies that hold the rod ends of the dozer blade cylinders and the lower bracket assembly to the dozer blade. Lower the lower bracket assembly to the floor. 7. Fasten a lifting sling and a hoist to the linkage assembly as shown. Put slight lifting tension on the linkage assembly.8. Remove bolt (8) and the washer from each pin assembly (7). Remove the two pin assemblies that hold the linkage assembly to the dozer blade. Lower the linkage assembly out of the dozer blade. 9. Fasten lifting slings and a hoist to dozer blade (9) as shown. Remove the dozer blade from the machine. The weight of the dozer blade is 386 kg (850 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the dozer blade.10. Make sure all the pin bores in the dozer blade, linkage assembly, bracket assembly and dozer blade cylinders are clean.11. Apply 5P-0960 Multipurpose Grease in the pin bores and on pin assemblies (6) and (7).12. Install the dozer blade in the reverse order of removal.13. Lubricate the dozer blade mounting pins. Start the machine, and check the operation of the dozer blade.
