Upgrade Procedure
Drain the jacket water coolant.

(1) 0S-1594 Bolts (2) 5M-2894 Hard Washers (3) 8N-3639 Retainers (4) 8N-3640 Retaining Rings (5) 6V-4357 Clip (6) 110-4341 Bracket (7) 0S-1595 Bolt (8) 5P-8245 Hard Washers (9) 1F-7958 Full Nut (10) 6V-4356 Clip (11) 103-0892 Grommet (12) 7E-9075 Tube
Remove bolts (1), washers (2) , retainers (3) and retaining rings (4) from both ends of the tube.
Remove bolt (7), washers (8) , nut (9) and bracket (6) .
Remove clips (5) and (10) and grommet (11) .
Discard the removed hardware.
Remove existing tube (12) and discard.

(12) 7E-9075 Tube (13) 6V-5066 O-Ring Seals
Install two o-rings (13) onto tube (12) .
Insert tube (12) into the 7C-3043 Elbow .
Insert tube (12) into the 7E-9584 Elbow .
Install a new 2N-0931 Gasket between the 7E-9584 Elbow and the thermostat housing.
Mount the 7E-9584 Elbow to the thermostat housing using the existing hardware.

(1) 0S-1594 Bolts (2) 5M-2894 Hard Washers (12) 7E-9075 Tube (14) 0S-1571 Bolts (15) 108-6170 Clamp As (16) 110-0096 Ring (17) 9S-8752 Full Nuts
Install ring (16) onto tube (12) .
Attach clamp assemblies (15) using two bolts (1), four washers (2) and two nuts (17) .
Secure the clamp assemblies to the elbow using two bolts (14) and two washers (2) .

(1) 0S-1594 Bolts (2) 5M-2894 Hard Washers (12) 7E-9075 Tube (14) 0S-1571 Bolts (15) 108-6170 Clamp As (16) 110-0096 Ring (17) 9S-8752 Full Nuts
Install ring (16) on the new tube (12) .
Attach clamp assemblies (13) using two bolts (1), four washers (2) and two nuts (15) .
Secure the clamp assemblies to the elbow using two bolts (12) and two washers (2) .

Install one new grommet (11) over tube (12) .
Attach bracket (25) to the oil filter housing using two bolts (23) and two washers (24) .
Install clips (18) and (19) over grommet (11) .
Secure clips (18) and (19) to bracket (25) using one bolt (20), two washers (21) and one nut (22) .
