This is an example of a Differential and Bevel Gear (Two Piece Cap).Note: Differentials with two piece cap should refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Differential and Bevel Gear (Two Piece Cap) - Install" in this book for the correct procedure.Note: Verify that all of the components of the differential and bevel gear are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.Note: Check all of the components and all of the O-ring seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Tooling Option (2)
Install Tooling (C) in order to position differential and bevel gear (13) to the original location in the case and frame.
Install 10 nuts (11) and washers in the differential and bevel gear (13) .

Tooling Option (1)
Install Tooling (A) in order to position differential and bevel gear (13) to the original location in the case and frame.
Install 10 nuts (11) and washers in the differential and bevel gear (13) .
Remove Tooling (A) from the differential and bevel gear (13) .
Install two nuts (12) and the washers to the differential flange.

Connect hose assembly (3) to the differential (2) .
Install drive shaft yoke (6) to differential (2) .
Position hose (9) to differential (2). Install two bolts (8) and clips to differential (2) .
Position differential lock valve (7) to differential (2). Install two bolts (4) and the washers in differential lock valve (7) .
Connect wire connector (5) .

Install two sun gear shafts (1) in differential (2) .End By:
Install the final drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive - Install" for the correct procedure.
Install the transmission. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission - Install" for the correct procedure.
