B     239-8534     Weld Plate     1    On machines that the 239-8534 Weld Plate has bowed the plate will Need replaced. Use the following procedure to replace the plate
Remove from the assembly.
Secure harness away from 239-8534 Weld Plate (B) to prevent damage.
Grind welds (3) on each side of weld plate.
Using dimension (1) 142.0 mm (5.6 inch) and dimension (2) 24.70 mm (0.97 inch)to locate weld plate.
Secure the new plate with a 4.0 mm (0.15 inch) weld on both sides (3) of the new weld plate (B) .
Reinstall using 7X-0818 Bolt. Torque bolt to 18 2 N m (13 1.5 lb ft).Note: The 8T-4224 Hard Washer will not be reinstalled. The new bolt is effective in production on the following machine:
