(1) Hub (2) Snap ring (3) FlywheelThe pump hub connecting the pump to the rear of the engine at the flywheel on certain Track Feller Bunchers could have a 9X-2857 Retaining Ring (snap ring) installed in the 154-5559 Hub. Certain Track Feller Bunchers do not require the snap ring to be installed in the hub.Presence of the snap ring does not allow full engagement of the pump hub to the flange of the flywheel. Removal of the snap ring will allow full engagement of the 154-5559 Hub to the 154-5558 Flange of the flywheel.The removal of snap ring from the 154-5559 Hub allows full engagement of pump hub to the flange of the flywheel. Refer to Special Instruction, REHS8944, "Removal of Snap Ring from Pump Hub on Certain Track Feller Bunchers" to implement this improvement.This change is adaptable to the following machines:
