(9) Cooler bypass valveThis cooling system cools the hydraulic fan oil, the brake oil, and the Implement oil.Oil from the piston motor (hydraulic fan) (1) exits the fan motor through line (6). The oil proceeds through cooler bypass valve (9) and line (8) to enter oil cooler. Oil flows from the cooler through line (5) through a tee for the bypass and on to the hydraulic tank. Cooler bypass valve (9) will open when the oil flow becomes too restrictive. Cooler bypass valve (4) will direct oil around the cooler. The bypass will allow oil to flow from the fan motor hose (6) directly to the return line to the hydraulic tank (5). The hydraulic oil filter is located between the fan pump and the control valve. There is filter on the fan motor return. Excess oil from the motor will return directly to the hydraulic tank through the case drain to tank hose (2).

Temperature sensor (10) is on the hydraulic tank. the temperature sensor (10) sends a voltage signal to the engine Electronic Control Module (ECM). The engine ECM calculates the oil temperature by comparing the voltage signal to a predetermined set of values.
