Remove the piston motor (vibratory). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Motor (Vibratory) - Remove".

Remove bolts (1) and remove end cap (2).

Remove valve plate (3), gasket (4), bearing (5), and locating pin (6). Bearing (5) is a press fit in end cap (2).

During removal of the rotary group (8) from housing (7), do not let the components fall apart. The piston assemblies (9) should be installed in their original bores in the slipper guide (10) and cylinder block (11).
Position housing (7) on the side and remove rotary group (8).

Put identification marks on pistons (9), on slipper guide (10), and on cylinder block (11).

Remove retainer guide (12), pins (13), and retainer (14).

Possible injury can result when removing the retaining ring and spring.Spring force will be released when the retaining ring is removed.Be prepared to hold the cylinder assembly as the retaining ring is removed.
Put cylinder block (11) in a suitable press. Install a suitable drive plate of the same size as the washer (15). Put slight compression on notched washer (15) with the press. Remove retaining ring (16) and slowly release the spring compression.

Remove notched washer (15), spring (17) and washer (18).

Remove swashplate (19).

Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (21). Remove seal (22). Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (23). Remove shaft (24).
Use Tooling (B) to remove retaining ring (25). Remove bearing (26). Bearing (26) is a press fit on shaft (24). Use Tooling (B) to remove retaining ring (27).
