Place two bushings (11) into position on the cylinder. Use two people to install the bushing on the cylinder. The weight of the bushing is 26 kg (57 lb). Lubricate the cylinder trunnions with clean grease before installation of the two bushings. Install four bolts to the bushings in order to draw the bushings onto the cylinder. Tighten the bolts evenly.

(3) Valve (5) Hose assembly (10) Hose assembly
Install the two O-ring seals to hose assembly (6). Place the hose into position on the cylinder. Install the two half flanges, the four bolts, and the washers that secure the hose to the cylinder.
Connect hose assembly (10) to the rod end of the cylinder. Refer to Illustration 10 for the proper routing of hose (10) .

Lower the cylinder to the jaw. Reposition the lifting sling on the cylinder or place a wood block between the cylinder and the jaw for support. Ensure that the jaw and the cylinder are in alignment. Use a large hammer and a brass drift in order to install pin (8). The weight of the pin is 35 kg (77 lb).

Install nut (7) onto the pin. Use Tooling (A) to tighten the nut. Back off the nut until the nearest set of holes are aligned. Install the two bolts and the washers that secure the nut.

Connect hose assembly (5). Refer to Illustration 10 for the proper routing of hose (5) .
Install the two half flanges, the four bolts, and the washers that secure hose assembly (6) to the cylinder.
