Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the gerotor motor. Refer to Service Manual, "Gerotor Motor - Remove".

Remove nine bolts (1). Remove the end cap (2) .

Place the end cap (2) upside-down. Remove O-ring (3) .
Remove O-ring (4). Remove relief valve (6). Remove O-ring (5) .

Remove valve plate (7) .

Remove O-ring (8). Remove gerotor (9) .Note: There are two check balls underneath the gerotor.

Place the gerotor (9) upside-down.
Remove O-ring (10) .
Replace the two check balls (11). Apply grease to the check balls in order to retain the check balls in the housing.

Remove balance plate (12) .

Remove drive shaft (13) from bearing housing (14) .Note: The drive spacer may be removed with the drive shaft. The drive spacer is not shown.

Remove backup ring (15). Remove seal (16) .
Remove backup ring (17). Remove the O-ring 18.

Remove retaining ring 19.

Use a press to remove the shaft assembly from the housing.

Remove shaft face seal (20) from the bearing housing (14) .

Remove front retainer (22) from shaft assembly (24) .
Remove O-ring (23) .
Remove the shaft seal (21) from the front retainer (22) .
