Connect the data link cable between thecommunication adapter and laptop.
Connect the data link cable and the diagnosticconnector on the machine.
Turn the machine electrical disconnectswitch and the key start switch to the on position.
Use WINFLASH in cat electronic technicianto load the new flash file.
Note: Do not use3.5 - inch floppy disks when flashing software. All software to be flashmust be loaded onto the PC hard drive first, and then flashed from thehard drive directory. Disable the PC screensaver before beginning the flashprocedure.
If possible, observe machine operation for severalminutes, to verify all machine functions are working properly
