(IRM), FLU 89-6, Form PELE0111, 'Introduction Of Cat Natural Gas Engine Oil (NGEO)".Caterpillar is pleased to announce the availability of Cat Natural Gas Engine Oil (NGEO) in SAE 30 and SAE 40 viscosity. This product will initially be offered in both bulk and 55 gallon drums. These products are being offered in order to provide a product that will optimize performance in Caterpillar natural gas (spark-ignited) engines.
These products will be offered under the following part numbers:
7X2425: Cat NGEO, Bulk, SAE 307X2461: Cat NGEO, 55 gallon, SAE 307X2426: Cat NGEO, Bulk, SAE 407X2469: Cat NGEO, 55 gallon, SAE 40These products will be blended and stocked at selected supplier blending and warehouse locations. Initial stocking levels are based on our best estimates of where the natural gas engine population is located.
The same ordering parameters that apply to the current Cat Fluids Program will also be applicable for ordering these new package sizes in Natural Gas Engine Oil. The minimum order will be one pallet which is composed of four drums.
The price structure for NGEO will be volume-sensitive as are other products in the Cat Fluids Program. The lowest dealer net prices are obtained by ordering Cat Fluids in full truckload quantities. A revised dealer net price sheet will be mailed separately to Cat dealers by NACD. Cat NGEO will be priced the same as Cat DEO.
