Engine speed dial
Set the engine speed dial at "10".
Lower the left console.
Position the machine on level ground. Check the visibility and adjust the mirrors for the best vision close to the machine.
Fully depress the service brake pedal until the service brake pedal locks mechanically.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 46° to 60° C (115° to 140° F).
Lower the stabilizers, the blade tip, and/or the implement to raise the front axle and the rear axle. This condition will allow the wheels to turn freely.Note: All tires must be fully off the ground.
Fully extend the bucket cylinder and place the bucket on the ground.
Stop the engine.
Raise the left console.

Connect tooling (E) to the service connector.
Start the engine.

Set the engine speed dial at "1".
Lower the left console.

Power mode control button on the soft panel switch
Push down on the power mode control button to activate power mode.Note: The indicator light will be illuminated when power mode is activated.

Automatic Engine Speed Control (AESC) as displayed on the programmable function key in the monitor.
Disable the automatic engine speed control through the monitor by pressing the programmable button.

Select the hydraulic modulation mode as aggressive. Press the lower front switch on the left joystick to select the hydraulic modulation mode.
The air conditioning should be turned off for the following test.

Transmission control button on the soft panel switch
Push down on the transmission control button to select FIRST GEAR.Note: The first indicator light will illuminate when the transmission is in FIRST GEAR.

Creeper speed control button on the soft panel switch
Push down on the creeper speed control button to activate the creeper speed control.Note: The indicator light will be illuminated when the creeper speed control is activated.Test Procedure
Fully depress travel pedal and stall any implement.
Override the “Main Pump Displacement Solenoid Current” until the shaft speed has reached the correct value.Note: Refer to Table 1 for the correct value.
Start the Electronic Technician.
Select the Machine ECM and then select “OK”.
Select “Diagnostics” from the main menu.
Select “Diagnostic Tests”.
Select “Override Parameters”.
Select “Travel Activation Valve” and set the current to 0.8 amp.
Select “Main Pump Displacement Solenoid Current ” and set the current to 0.05 amp.
Read transmission output speed, main pump pressure output speed, and compare to specifications that are listed in Table 1.
Disable overrides and release travel pedal after test is complete.
If the main pump destroke solenoid current is not within the specifications, then proceed to the "Adjustment Procedure" to adjust the current to the main pump destroke solenoid.Adjustment Procedure

Remove the cap from offset adjustment screw (1) for the main pump displacement solenoid (2).
If the current is below the minimum value that is listed in Table 1, turn the offset adjustment screw clockwise to increase the current to “Main Pump Displacement Solenoid Current”. If the current is above the maximum value that is listed in Table 1, turn the offset adjustment screw
