PROBLEM
Certain 243-3166, 252-4558, 252-4559, 307-4671, 307-4672, and 307-4673 Handle Control Groups need to be removed from dealer parts stock due to a potential quality problem which can result in failure of the Handle Control Group.
ACTION REQUIRED
Remove all 252-4558 and 252-4559 Handle Control Groups with date codes 0601 through 0721. Remove all 243-3166, 307-4671, 307-4672, and 307-4673 Handle Control Groups with date codes 0642 through 0721. The first two characters of the date code represent the year of manufacture. The last two characters of the date code represent the calendar week during that year. Refer to the illustration for location of the date code.
