Configurable Events
The beeper can be configured for any of the following events:Warning Messages - This event occurs when a warning message clears automatically. This event occurs when a warning message appears.GPS Accuracy - This event occurs when the level of the accuracy of the GPS signals changes.Avoidance Zones - This event occurs when the machine is within the warning distance of an Avoidance Zone. This event occurs if the "No Avoid" message is displayed. The beeper sounds in a continuous pattern when the machine is within the Avoidance Zone. Note: The beeper cannot be disabled for Avoidance Zones.Key/Switch Beeps - This event occurs when a key or a switch is pressed.Beeper Patterns
Table 1 lists the pattern of sounds that are generated by the beeper. The beeper will sound for all of the events that are listed. This is the default operation. However, some events may be turned off by your on-site manager.Note: Additional patterns are available for other types of machines. The additional patterns do not apply to compactors.

From any guidance screen, press the Menu key (8). The "Setup Menu - Configuration" screen appears.
Scroll to the "Beeper" option. Use the arrow keys (9) .

Press the OK key (10). The "Beeper Options" dialog appears. The dialog shows the currently configured audible alerts. Table 2 defines the condition of the event.
