Purge Procedure
When opening the drain valve, wear protective gloves, protective face shield, protective clothing and protective shoes.Pressurized air could cause debris to be blown and result in personal injury.
Install the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
Install the retaining ring and pin (body). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Retaining Ring and Pin (Body) - Remove and Install". Note: The two drain valves are located in the engine compartment.

Secondary Air Tank Drain Valve

Primary Air Tank Drain Valve
Note: The drain valve for the primary air tank is located beside the steering hydraulic tank.
Purge the air pressure in the air tanks by turning drain valve (1) in the counterclockwise direction.
After the air pressure has been purged, turn drain valve (1) in the clockwise direction.
Start the machine in order to recharge the air tanks.
Remove the retaining ring and pin (body). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Retaining Ring and Pin (Body) - Remove and Install".
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
