Be sure no one is working on or near the machine to prevent injury. Keep the machine under control at all times to prevent injury.Use the propulsion control lever to reduce machine travel speed when maneuvering in tight quarters or when breaking over a rise.Always operate the engine at full throttle. Reduction in engine rpm will result in reduced steering and braking time.
1. Fasten and adjust the seat belt.2. Move the steering wheel to the operating position. 3. Release the parking brake. 4. Move the vibratory control switches to the OFF position. 5. Move the throttle control lever to the OPERATE position. 6. Push the propulsion control lever away from the operator to travel forward. The farther the propulsion control lever is pushed, the faster the machine will travel.7. Slowly move the propulsion control lever to the STOP position to stop the machine.
Shutting off engine will result in loss of machine steering.
8. If circumstances require an unusually fast stopping procedure, move propulsion control lever (1) to the STOP position and move the parking brake toggle switch (2) up.Changing Direction
1. To make a right turn, rotate the steering wheel clockwise. 2. To make a left turn, rotate the steering wheel counter-clockwise.
