Scraper teeth are centered between drum pads. (1) (14) 461-9515 Bar Center the scraper teeth between the drum pads. Fill in any gap between the scraper bar assembly (1) and the yoke side plates. Use up to six 1.6 mm (0.063 inch) 461-9514 Shims (7) and one 0.8 mm (0.032 inch) 467-4778 Shim (6) to fill in the gaps.Note: Torque RIGHT side bolts (10) first. Add shims to LEFT side of bar assembly (1). Verify the position of the scraper teeth. Add shims to the RIGHT side, if needed. Final torque for the mounting hardware is 460 N m (340 lb ft).

Note orientation of shims. (I) Scraper bar mounting slot. (J) Scraper tooth mounting slot.Set the gap between the scraper teeth and drum surface (H) to 20 10 mm (0.8 0.4inch). See Illustration 10. Make adjustments using the bar mounting slots (I) and the individual scraper mounting slots (J), as needed. See Illustration 11.Ensure that all hardware is torqued to 460 N m (340 lb ft) once position is set.

Loosely install mounting hardware consisting of four 7X-2566 Bolts (13), four 8T-5439 Hard Washers (9), four 198-4781 Hard Washers (4), four 8T-4131 Nuts (3) and the 10 mm (0.4 inch) 461-9513 Shim (2) on each side of the scraper bar assembly (5).

(5) 445-2431 Bar Center the scraper teeth between the drum pads and fill in any additional gap on either side of the scraper bar assembly (5). To fill the gap, use up to six 1.6 mm (0.063 inch) 461-9514 Shims (7) and one 0.8 mm (0.032 inch) 467-4778 Shim (6) .Note: Torque RIGHT side bolts (21) first.
