Computerized monitoring systemThe computerized monitoring system is an input and an output of the ECM for computerized profiler control (CPC). These two electronic controls communicate back and forth on the CAT data link. The computerized monitoring system provides alert indicators, gauges and numerical readouts for the ECM for the CPC to use. The computerized monitoring system shows the following information regarding the ECM for the computerized profiler control.
Status of the rotor door is shown on alert indicator 10. When the rotor door is open, this indicator flashes.
The Engine speed is displayed on the rpm gauge of the CMS.
Propel status of the machine are displayed on a gear indicator of the CMS.
The oil pressure status of the clutch is shown on the gauge. When the rotor is engaged and the oil pressure of the rotor clutch is out of the range, this indicator flashes.
The status of the operator error is shown on alert indicator 3. When there is an operator error, this indicator flashes.
The status of the kickback ski is shown on alert indicator 11. When the kickback ski is in the position of the kickback, this indicator flashes.
The status of the water spray pressure is shown on alert indicator 5. When the water spray is engaged and the water spray pressure is low, this indicator flashes.
The status of the electrical fault of the CPC is shown on alert indicator 12. When an electrical fault is present on the CPC, this indicator flashes.Note: The computerized monitoring system (CMS) is not used on this machine to access the diagnostic or calibration information that is related to the machine electronic control system. Diagnostic codes for the machine electronic control system can only be viewed at the screen on the ECM.
