Installation Procedure

Use a suitable lifting device in order to install the axle housing. Lift the axle housing at the arrows.Note: The weight of the axle housing is approximately 250 kg (550 lb).

Use the suitable lifting device in order to support the axle housing. Support the axle housing at the arrows.

Install bolts (3) into the axle housing.

Install the ball joint end of the tie rod into steering housing (2). Install tie rod nut (1). Tighten nut (1) to a torque of 165 N m (122 lb ft). Install the cotter pin.
Fill the differential housing with the proper lubricants. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the proper types and volumes of lubricant.End By:
