Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
Move throttle control switch (4) to the LOW IDLE position.
Move engine start switch (3) to the OFF position.
Move engine start switch (3) to the ON position. Do not start the engine.

Remove test panel cover (5) on the right side of the operator seat.

Disconnect test mode plug (7) .
If a service tool software capable computer is available, go to Step 10. If a service tool software capable computer is unavailable, go to Step 11.
Connect the computer to test connection (6) . Load the diagnostic software and click "ENABLE" for the propel handle calibration. Go to Step 15.

Under the parameter functions, select "Sensor Cal Enable". Click on the enable button next to "Propel Handle Calibration".

To ensure that calibrations are done correctly, go to "Log Functions" and expand the section labeled "Propel", then select "Sensors". When the "Propel Handle Calibration" is enabled, you will see Test Mode Active and Calibration Enabled. The "Propel Handle Calibration" is under the "Propel Handle" title on the right-hand side of the screen under "Calibration". Go to step 15.

Remove five bolts and remove cover (8) on the side of the right console.

Disconnect propel lever connector (9) , wait 5 seconds, and reconnect.
Move propel lever (1) to the FULL FORWARD position.

After you have moved the propel handle to the FULL FORWARD position and pressed the water control switch once, you see the following screen.

Press water control switch (10) on the propel lever once.

Watch warning indicator (11) . The warning indicator will illuminate and an alarm will sound once.
Move propel lever (1) to the FULL REVERSE position.
After you have moved the propel handle to the FULL REVERSE position and pressed the water control switch once, you will see the following screen.

Press water control switch (10) on the propel lever once. The warning indicator will illuminate and an alarm will sound once.
Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
After you have moved the propel handle to the NEUTRAL position and pressed the water control switch once, you will see the following screen.

Press water control switch (10) on the propel lever once.
Watch warning indicator (11) . If the calibration is successful, the indicator will illuminate and an alarm will sound twice. If the calibration fails, a fault code is displayed on the warning indicator, and the calibration routine is aborted.
Move engine start switch (3) to the OFF position.
If necessary, disconnect the computer from test connection (6) .
Replace test mode plug (7) .
Replace test panel cover (5) . Replace cover (8) on the side of the right console.
